CEM - Specialised Skills Training
Ultrasound
The College of Emergency Medicine includes Ultrasound in the curriculum for trainees. A subgroup has been established to look at this area and the purpose of the group is shown here
There are two levels of Ultrasound proficiency for the CEM
Level 1 in Ultrasound which can be accessed here
Level 2 Certification in Emergency Medicine Ultrasound can be viewed here. Enquiries about Level 2 training and standards should be addressed to Bob Jarman, Level 2 Working Group Lead.
A certificate in Ultrasound can be acheived - details here. Applications for the Certificate should be addressed to Paul Atkinson, Certification Board Chair.

Each region now has a Ultrasound Training Co-ordinator who should be able to provide advice and leadership for the members wishing to develop their skills.
