In April 2007 we launched our first portable cardiac readar, the Cobas h232, designed for use in hospitals and by GPs. It has a broad menu including tests for deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism as well as myocardial infarction and heart failure. Results are given on the spot, delivering accuracy comparable to a laboratory and enabling swift diagnosis and treatment.

Roche also provide the serum S100 test used to rule out traumatic brain injury in an emergency setting.
